My name is Melody. That's not my real name, but I'm afraid of internet stalkers, so that's all you're going to get. I chose that name as my alias and it's been that way for years, so it's almost like a second name for me.
I'm girly in my mind and I like girly things, but people tell me I'm a tomboy. I try to be open-minded, and I'm a cosplayer who has fears of getting pregnant, getting mugged, getting attacked, etc. These fears affect my behavior. Often, I am too nice and polite. I can't say no to people. I believe in God, but don't mind if you don't. I just don't want people insulting my religion, especially to my face. I do have trouble trusting Him sometimes. Then again, I have trouble trusting anyone, even myself. I have streams of conciousness. Sometimes you might not understand me. I'm working on becoming better at communicating my thoughts and feelings. When I've had a bad day, I sometimes talk terrible about it and that makes me seem pessimistic (which I am sometimes, but I'm an optimist more.) The reason I do this is to try and make it at least a little humorous so 1. I don't feel so bad and 2. So if people are ever in a situation like that, they can try to find the humor in it like I did.

Dreams: to inspire people, to write a book, to maybe get a song written about me, to maybe get a part in a movie

My worst side comes out when I'm around my family, but I love them anyway. I visit them every weekend. I'm very close to my 14- year old brother, and somewhat close to my 2 year old brother. I mean, he's a baby, how close can you really get to a baby if you don't see them every day?
You could say I'm closer to my parents than most people. Some may view that as... childish. That I spend so much time with my family, instead of independently getting a job, living by myself, etc. But quite honestly, I don't want to yet.

Good points: I'm open-minded, I look acceptable (I think I look good), there are more, but I'm a busy person and I can't think of 'em right now.
Bad points: I ramble, I'm habitually late, I'm forgetful, there are more...
Favorites: Mew, Raichu, Lugia, coloring, family and friends, not in that order, and there are more.
Dislikes: Being judged. To be updated. There's not too many things I actively dislike.

Human psychology fascinates me. I spend my time writing two types of fanfiction- the ones that are really long and you spend a long time on, and the ones that just randomly come to me and I decide to make a one-shot out of it.

I'm a freshman in college. Sometimes I'll say really childish things, I'll warn you. I've had a somewhat sheltered childhood and I must embarrassingly admit that I didn't know what a scene kid was until this year, for example. Ahh, Youtube. The new school of youth.

Let's face it- I'm nerdy about many things. I like clothes... but not shoes that much. I would prefer to be barefoot... I can be a bit hippie-ish sometimes. I don't like war. I'm definitely a misfit, and a big klutz, but that's okay, because I like to ice skate a lot, and I'm graceful on the ice... just not on land, where it counts. But that's okay. I've gotten used to being uncoordinated.

special talent: I can wiggle my eyebrows.

Physical description: I'm on the short side. Average figure, I suppose. I have long brown hair and hazel eyes. I'm average-looking, so you probably wouldn't think twice about me if you saw me in a crowd. But I have a lot to offer.

By the way, I don't have internet on weekends. Or major holidays.

Also, I should warn you. When I'm typing fast (in comments, sometimes in posts), I won't capitalize. If you can deal with that, then we're cool.
